5 Must Follow Blogs for Savvy People

I have always loved reading blogs. In a short read you can be inspired, challenged, or learn something new. Between blogs, podcasts, and Ted Talks, there is not a day that goes by that I don’t learn something new.

Last year when I decided to take a stab at this blogging thing, I searched all over for inspiration. Some of the blogs I talk about in this post are the reason I decided to take to the vast world of the internet and start sharing with the world.

I have to admit, the past year of blogging hasn’t led to the fame and stardom I had imagined, but it as challenged me, foster friendships, and has been the outlet I needed at times. I would recommend it to anyone. Whether you are a consumer or a contributor, you should read/write a blog a day.

Don’t know where to start?

There are 5 blogs that inspire me daily and teach me many savvy tips and tricks.

In no particular order:

1. TUT

TUT, which stands for The Universe Talks, is an inspiration blog that spreads love by sending daily(weekdays) emails they call, “Notes from the Universe.” I signed up for these notes after a suggestion from a good friend. I was a little skeptical at first. Honestly it seemed a little out there for me. But this year’s theme has been about getting outside my comfort zone and changing my energy.

So I figured why not?

At first reading the daily emails fell on the back burner. Then I started reading their famous saying, “Thoughts become things, choose the good ones.” I knew I wanted to shift my thoughts and focus on the good ones, so I made it a point to start my day with the Notes from the Universe.

I quickly noticed a shift after a few short weeks in my attitude when I woke up in the morning. Now it’s become a week day habit, one I am grateful for and highly recommend.

2. Go Curry Cracker

Go Curry Cracker blows my mind. It is written and operated by an inspiring couple who retired in their 30’s and now spend their time traveling the world. Some of the tax posts go a little over my head, but I know the more I read them the more I will understand.

I might still be waiting on that “aha moment” when it comes to the complicated tax math, but I learn plenty from the regular blog posts about finance and travel. I laugh, I feel challenged, and have a few moments of mind blown optimism.

If you want a blog that will stretch what you think possible and prove it with real facts this is the blog for you. And for you bloggers out there, this is the best website to learn the affiliate link game. They have it down.

4. The Penny Hoarder

The Penny Hoarder is the ultimate site for tips on making money. I am not one to promote hoarding, but despite the name this blog is one of the best. It has consistent and great content that will make you think outside the box.

It is loaded with “How to’s” and facts that will open your eyes and expose you to new ideas and opportunities.

Lifehack is full of articles that “help you make life easier,” as they would say. I enjoy this blog because it’s a collaborative blog that has every type of life hack you could ask for.

It is savvy and interesting and a great read. The next time you have 5 minutes free and need a good read, just jump onto Lifehack and say goodbye to 30 miuntes of getting lost in posts.
