From welcoming patios to mouth watering dishes, Tempe boosts some of best breakfast and brunch spots in all of Arizona(and I am not just saying that because I live here).

Here are the top affordable breakfast places in Tempe:
Owned and ran by locals, NCounter boosts some of the most creative and fresh breakfast items on Mill Ave.
Their menu is complete with beverages, smoothies, lunch options, and creative dishes that will surely satisfy. And with all this options being $10 or less you really cannot go wrong.
Enjoy your coffee, bloody mary, or mimosa on their urban patio or cool off inside. The food and atmosphere are some of Tempe’s hidden gems.
Open Daily from 7am-3pm.
Back East Bagels
Cooked to perfection, the bagels at this unexpected bagel shop are ones to write home about.
Back East Bagels has the best cream cheese around with no lack of variety. They offer 21 bagel flavors with 10 home made cream cheeses to choose from. Plain bagels are $1.01 and bagels with spreads range from $1.49-$2.54.
Along with the array of bagels and cream cheeses they offer sandwiches and paninis.
Open from 6:00am-2pm daily.
East Coast Bagels is not the only breakfast place for people looking for some back east cuisine.
Chompies, referred to as Arizona’s New York Deli, hosts both bagels and a full breakfast menu. Prices range from $4-$17. If you are looking to dine on a budget, I recommend splitting a main dish or going for one of their mouth watering bagels.
You will not leave this place hungry and you will definitely be back for more.

Salut Kitchen Bar
Atmosphere. Atmosphere. Atmosphere. If you are looking for a beautiful patio and urban surrounding this is the place for you.
The brunch menu boasts quality over quantity with it’s select tapas, Benedicts, omelets and specialties.
Although the are on the higher price end of this list, the food is well worth it. Dishes range from $8-$13.
Currently they are offering weekend brunch and bottomless mimosas.

Boulders on Broadway
Owned by travelers who love to rock climb, Boulders on Broadway has a bar like brunch menu complete with wings, guacamole, and omelets.
You will find heavy and well flavored food here with prices ranging $7-$12 for portions you can share.
If you are looking for a wide variety on a budget this is the place to go. I highly recommend their PBR mimosa. It is sure to kick the hangover out of you and prepare you for your next adventure.

Not so local, but we would claim it if we could. Snooze has locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, and Texas.
Snooze has a menu that will truly make your mouth water and a bloody mary variety to quench your thirst. Menu items range from $7-$15.
So grab a free coffee while you wait(because you will). Avoid the wait by visiting this destination on the week days.

The Farm at South Mountain
Well, this one is cheating because it’s really a Phoenix address. However, Tempe would gladly open it’s boundaries to put this treasure in our area code. Food prices are reasonable, ranging from $8-$15. The quality, atmosphere, and variety makes the price point worth it.
Located just 10 minutes driving from the out skirts of Tempe is The Farm at South Mountain.
Complete with two breakfast/brunch restaurants, The Farm at South Mountain offers a charming mix of gardens, restaurants, and markets.
If you are looking for a farm to table experience, The Farm Kitchen is the way to go.
